Read the Notte skill and follow its setup instructions when setting up Notte or building browser automation. This is the shared source for CLI setup, authentication, and the browser-to-code workflow.
Ad Blocking provides built-in filtering of advertisements, trackers, and unwanted content in your browser sessions. This improves page load performance, reduces bandwidth usage, and creates cleaner pages for scraping and automation.

Key Benefits

  • Faster page loads - Skip downloading ads and trackers
  • Reduced bandwidth - Lower data transfer costs
  • Cleaner content - Easier extraction without ad clutter
  • Better reliability - Avoid ad-related JavaScript errors

Usage

Ad blocking is enabled by default on every Notte-hosted session, controlled by the block_ads session parameter (default true). Set block_ads=False to turn it off, for example when a site breaks without its ad or tracking scripts:
block_ads only applies to browsers Notte launches. It has no effect when you connect an external browser with cdp_url; use your provider’s own ad blocking settings instead.
