AI agent instructions
BrowserProvider interface. You need Node.js 24.8+ and a Notte API key.
Run a test
Get the example project. Inexamples/e2e, run npm ci, set NOTTE_API_KEY in your environment, then run npm test.
The project includes the provider, e2e.config.ts, and a test that opens a public page and checks a link. You do not need to install a local browser or configure a model for this test.
Test your application
Changeapp.url in e2e.config.ts to an application reachable from the cloud browser. Write tests with e2e’s app, screen, and expect fixtures. Keep notte() as the browser provider.
The runner releases each attempt’s browser on success or failure. The example also sets a three-minute session limit. Its minimal provider does not implement downloads, provider recordings, or lease sweeping; e2e’s per-attempt scope limits apply.
The included live checks cover deterministic tests and failure cleanup. Model-driven agent steps have not been tested. Follow e2e’s model configuration guide to add those steps.
